This Endless Sea

This Endless Sea
is an installation work exploring a relationship between grief, the body, and the sea. An intimate experience for one or two people (or a family) at a time, the work creates a space for people to gently reflect on their own experiences of grief and loss.

Inside this specially designed coastal shelter, is a six-screen film that plays on a continous loop. Viewers are guided in by a team of hut keepers, who ensure those inside are able to watch uninterrupted, and are there to offer a tissue, a hug, or conversations on the work afterwards.

Audience feedback includes:

‘I found the experience so moving, not just because it evokes my own feelings of grief but because it expressed your grief with such eloquence. This is expression at its very best.’

‘A moving, meaningful, totally beautiful piece of work’

‘This Endless Sea will stay with me’
